Simple actions such as being present, creating a sense of stability, and encouraging healthy ways for children to express themselves can play an important role in helping them cope.
Mrs. Tonnie Choueiry, psychologist at Bellevue Medical Center, shares guidance to help parents navigate these sensitive moments with care and confidence.

In light of everything our country is going through, we recognize how important it is to support one another and create space for open dialogue and emotional well-being.

Our staff recently took part in a session titled “Finding Relief Together”, led by Mrs. Tonnie Choueiry, Psychologist at Bellevue Medical Center.
Surrounded by the calm of nature around the hospital, participants found a safe and supportive space to pause, breathe, and reflect.

Through simple breathing exercises and guided discussions, the session offered practical ways to cope during challenging times and encouraged open communication to help us navigate difficult emotions together.

At Bellevue Medical Center, caring for our community also means caring for the well-being of our team.

في ظلّ كل ما يمرّ به بلدنا، نُدرك أهمية دعم بعضنا البعض وخلق مساحة للحوار المفتوح والاهتمام بالصحة النفسية.
شارك موظفونا مؤخرًا في جلسة بعنوان "إيجاد الراحة معًا" قدّمتها السيدة توني شويري، الأخصائية النفسية في مستشفى
ومركز بلفو الطبي.

وفي أجواء الطبيعة الهادئة المحيطة بالمستشفى، وجد المشاركون مساحة آمنة وداعمة للتوقّف قليلًا، والتنفس بعمق،

والتأمّل.
ومن خلال تمارين تنفّس بسيطة ونقاشات موجّهة، قدّمت الجلسة أساليب عملية للتعامل مع الأوقات الصعبة، وشجّعت على التواصل المفتوح لمساعدتنا على تخطّي المشاعر الصعبة
معًا.

في الأوقات الصعبة، يصبح الاهتمام بصحتنا النفسية أكثر أهمية من أي وقت مضى.
قد يمرّ الكثير من الناس بموجات من المشاعر مثل الخوف، الحزن، الغضب، أوحتى عدم الشعور بشيء. هذه ردود فعل طبيعية في ظلّ الظروف الصعبة، حيث يحاول كلّ من جسمنا وعقلنا التكيّف وحمايتنا.

بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للسمع، يدعوكم مستشفى ومركز بلفو الطبي بالتعاون مع الجمعية اللبنانية للأنف والأذن والحنجرة وجراحة الوجه والعنق إلى المشاركة في حملة مجانية لفحص السمع للأطفال من الولادة حتى 5 سنوات، وذلك ضمن مبادرة تهدف إلى التشخيص المبكر لضعف السمع عند الأطفال.

This Valentine’s Day, hearts came together at Bellevue Medical Center 🤍
In collaboration with Step Together, students from the association prepared and shared heart-shaped cookies with our patients and staff, spreading sweetness, smiles, and a powerful message of inclusion.
More than a simple gesture, this initiative reflected the importance of embracing every individual’s place in our community, while highlighting the compassionate care that defines Bellevue.
Because at Bellevue, love is not just celebrated, it is lived every day. 💕

في مناسبة عيد الحب هذا العام، وبالتعاون مع Step Together، قام طلاب الحمعية بتحضير وتوزيع بسكويت على شكل قلوب على المرضى والموظفين، ناشرين الفرح و الابتسامة، ورسالة عن أهمية الدمج في المجتمع.
حملت هذه اللفتة أبعاد أكثر عمقاً عن كونها مبادرة رمزية، مسلطةً الضوء على أهمية احتضان مكانة كل فرد في مجتمعنا، كذلك مشددةً على الرعاية المتعاطفة التي تميّز مستشفى ومركز بلفو الطبي.

Supported by the expertise and compassionate care of the team at Bellevue Medical Center, Mrs. Rita Abi Rached shares her journey through treatment, recovery, and her return to a cancer-free life.

Her story reflects what becomes possible when resilience meets the right medical support.
As she beautifully said,
“Pain, too, is subject to change.”
