Raising Awareness and Breaking Stigma!
On December 10, 2025, Bellevue Medical Center, in collaboration with the University of Balamand Faculty of Medicine and Medical Sciences, held an HIV awareness session at the Dekwaneh campus. The event was attended by more than 130 medical students.
Led by Professor Rabih Hallit, Chief of the Infectious Diseases Service at Bellevue Medical Center, the session highlighted key facts about living normally with , the latest advances in prevention and treatment, and the critical importance of reducing .
The event concluded with an engaging Q&A that reflected the medical students’ critical thinking, ethical awareness, and strong sense of responsibility toward evidence-based practice.

This initiative supports early detection of prostate cancer, one of the most common cancers among men.
