The Bellevue International Training Center (BITC) conducted a CPR awareness session at Collège des Sœurs Antonines - Kfarchima, training 170 secondary students on how to act fast in a cardiac emergency.

Students learned how to recognize cardiac arrest, perform hands-only CPR (chest compressions), and call for help. They also practiced on mannequins and received guidance on how to respond to choking in both adults and infants.

Because knowing what to do can save a life, let’s make CPR training something everyone learns.

أقام مركز بيلفو الدولي للتدريب (BITC) جلسة توعية حول الإنعاش القلبي الرئوي (CPR) في مدرسة راهبات الأنطونية - كفَرشيما، درّب خلالها 170 طالبًا من المرحلة الثانوية على كيفية التصرف بسرعة في حالات الطوارئ القلبية.
تعلّم الطلاب كيفية التعرّف على حالات توقف القلب، وأداء الإنعاش القلبي الرئوي باستخدام اليدين فقط (الضغطات الصدرية)، وطلب المساعدة. كما قاموا بتطبيق التدريب على دمى مخصّصة وتلقّوا إرشادات حول كيفية التعامل مع حالات الاختناق لدى البالغين والرضّع.
فلنجعل تدريب الإنعاش القلبي الرئوي مهارة يتعلمها الجميع، لأن معرفة ما يجب فعله قد تُنقِذ حياة.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the BMC team participated in the Barbara Nassar Pinky Promise event; promoting awareness, prevention, and early action.

Visitors at our booth took part in fun awareness questions with our dedicated radiology and nursing team, learning more about the importance of early detection and the benefits of our 3D mammography.

Those who answered the most questions won special gifts, and everyone left with one message: early detection saves lives!

Health starts with early action.
As part of our commitment to supporting women’s health and preventive care, Bellevue Medical Center, in collaboration with the Mansourieh, Mkalles, Daychounieh Municipality, organized a Women’s Health Day offering comprehensive medical assessments, Pap smear tests, and bone densitometry.
More than 70 women benefited from these essential screenings, taking proactive steps toward prevention and better health.

At Bellevue Medical Center, our pharmacists are a key partner in patient health, working hand in hand with doctors and nurses providing patient-centered care by monitoring therapies, educating patients, and advising on drug selection, dosage, and administration.
Inspired by this year’s World Pharmacist Day theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist,” the pharmacy team organized an interactive activity at the hospital. The event shed light on the correct use of different categories of medicine raising awareness about safe practices and honoring the vital role our pharmacists play in patient care.
A big thank you to the pharmacy team for keeping patient safety at the heart of everything they do!

We are proud to share moments from the award ceremony held on September 22, 2025 at Bellevue Medical Center, celebrating the receipt of the Gold Initiative Certificate: Stars of Excellence in Patient Experience from the Arab Hospitals Federation , in partnership with The Beryl Institute (USA).

The event was attended by Dr. Joseph El Helou, Advisor to the Minister of Public Health, representing His Excellency Dr. Rakan Nassereddine, along with Dr. Fadi Alame, President of the Arab Hospitals Federation, Mrs. Alice Yammine Boueiz, Chief Executive Officer of the Arab Hospitals Federation, syndicate representatives, the Deans of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Balamand and the Lebanese University, BMC senior management, medical and nursing teams, media figures, and other esteemed guests.

This ceremony was more than the presentation of an award; it was a celebration of the people who make it possible every day. Their professionalism, compassion, and innovation continue to drive Bellevue’s mission of putting patients at the heart of care.
