You can’t actually ‘bank’ sleep.

When you wake up super early Monday to Friday and then sleep till noon on Saturday, you’re confusing your internal clock, and your body reacts by spiking stress hormones.

And a stressed body is a body that wants to store fat, not burn it.

So do your metabolism a favor: keep the wake-up time strict, and take a nap later if you need it!

Knowing this isn’t a reason to restrict heavily, or develop a fear of food. That usually just leads right back into the binge-restrict cycle.

The goal here isn’t to demonize a cookie. The goal is to remove the shame.

When you find yourself overeating these foods, the worst thing you can do is beat yourself up. That guilt only fuels more stress and more emotional eating.

Instead, remind yourself:
“I’m not the problem.. I have zero willpower because I’m fighting against chemistry!!”

The balance you seek comes from understanding what you’re eating, so you can enjoy it without the side of guilt.

Good: a plate of chicken and potatoes. 🍗🥔    
Better: Add a salad before your meal for extra fiber! 🥗    
Best: 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar on the salad (or in water) to nourish your gut health and keep blood sugar in check! 🍎✨   
   
By making the best choice you are preventing blood sugar spikes which means a calmer rollercoaster of sugar cravings and hunger.
