On Sunday November 26 Rafic breastfed for the last time. He breastfed for 3 min and went to sleep. I was preparing him a week ahead that soon the milk will finish and that he is big now to drink milk from the breast.
This is a big milestone for us. I was preparing myself and Rafic to fully stop breastfeeding.

I would always read other moms post about weaning and would always wonder why are they so emotional 🥹. I get it now. No matter how much you are prepared, you are never prepared to say goodbye to the bond that you have❤️. I cried as I recognized that Rafic wont be breastfeeding anymore and it will be his last time, our last time breastfeeding. I am grateful for these 25 month, happy that i got to give Rafic the best nutrition and happy to all the supermoms who were with me in this journey.

Habibi Rafic i will always be proud that i breastfed you for 25 month!25 month of love, and bonding that i will forever cherish in my heart forever. You will forever be my baby boy❤️❤️❤️

To all the moms who just gave birth and feel that breastfeeding is taking too long or that it wont end. It will fly, time will fly and when you stop you will miss it, you will really miss it.
