The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), with support from the World Health Organization (WHO), held a National Consultation Meeting to review the National Substance Use Strategy. Over two days, four thematic working sessions were conducted to assess the main achievements, challenges, and gaps of the 2016–2021 strategy and to outline priority directions for the updated strategy. These sessions focused on:

- Policy and regulatory frameworks

- Prevention and health literacy

- Services for the treatment and management of substance use disorders

- Monitoring, surveillance, and research
