برعاية وإشراف مستشفى حمّود الجامعي، وبالتعاون مع ثانوية المقاصد الإسلامية، قدّمت الدكتورة غادة الحاج شحادة جلسة توعوية متخصصة حول داء السكري لدى الأطفال،

تضمنت شرحاً مفصلاً لأنواعه، أسبابه، علاماته المبكرة، والعوامل التي تزيد من احتمالية الإصابة به.

سلّطت الجلسة الضوء على أهمية الوعي المبكر لدى الأهل والطلاب، ودور التغذية الصحية والنشاط البدني في الوقاية من المضاعفات. كما شملت النقاش جوانب عملية تساعد الطلاب على فهم كيفية التعامل مع هذا المرض في حياتهم اليومية.

يأتي هذا اللقاء ضمن الجهود المستمرة لتعزيز الثقافة الصحية لدى الجيل الصاعد ودعم المؤسسات التعليمية بمعلومات طبية موثوقة تُسهم في بناء مجتمع أكثر صحة ووعياً.
