Alzahraa Medical Center (AMC), owned by the Alawite Islamic Charity Association (AICA) is a primary health care center (PHCC) located in Jabal Mohsen - Tripoli. AMC receives patients without any discrimination in gender, color, race or religion. The center was established on the 23rd of November 2008 after the sad incidents that hit Jabal Mohsen due to the struggle between the political parties, 8
& 14 of March in Lebanon which lead to 11 martyrs from the Alawite Islamic sect side due to the absence of hospitals in the area. The center was established through direct financial support from late Alawite Islamic Charity Association president Mr. Ali Eid
The center receives more then 7,000 patients per month from all Tripoli areas. The center provides the following services:
