During the last war in Lebanon, I wrote a short story about a resilient green frog who lost his home to war, found a way to move forward, and ultimately returned when peace prevailed.
Today, I’m thrilled to share this story in a new form—a short video brought to life by the incredible talents of many dear friends. Special thanks to Bill Crooks, whose love for the story inspired him to suggest we create this video, and to Jackie, who beautifully brought it all together. The voice of the story is to my daughter, Mary Joe, and it all began with a photo of a green frog taken by Mireille Abi Khalil, which sparked my imagination.
This collaboration is a testament to creativity, resilience, and the power of community. I hope this little green frog’s journey touches your hearts as much as it did mine. Thank you all for making this possible.
