Colombo (1553) has the highest number of cases, followed by Gampaha (698) and Kandy (583). The incidence levels were generally low and the highest incidence was in Colombo (6.34), Kandy (3.95), Gampaha (2.89), and Ratnapura (2.84) for 10,000 persons. The North Central and Northern provinces recorded less cases except Jaffna.

Colombo (803) has the highest number of cases, followed by Gampaha (366) and Kandy (315). The incidence levels were generally low and the highest incidence was in Colombo (3.28), Kandy (2.13), Ratnapura (1.9), and Kalutara (1.56) for 10,000 persons. The Eastern, North Central, and Northern provinces recorded less cases except Batticaloa, and Jaffna.

Dengue cases for April dropped from epidemic-levels in January and February to below average in April 2023 just as it was in April 2023. This drop could have been due to unpleasant warm conditions for mosquito vector. Colombo (422) has the highest number of cases, followed by Kandy (228) and Gampaha (223). The incidence levels were generally low and the highest incidence was in Jaffna (2.8), Colombo (1.7), Ratnapura (1.7), and Kandy (1.5) for 10,000 persons. The Eastern, North Central, Uva, and Southern provinces and Northern districts other than Jaffna.
