Do you know the difference between Cassia cinnamon and Ceylon (true) cinnamon?
If you are consuming Cassia as a cinnamon ……STOPS IT NOW…..
Cassia contains ingredient called “coumarin” in high percentage/dosage which attacks to human liver in greater way in long run.
Cassia contains approximately 1% coumarin, while Ceylon contains only 0.004%, or 250 times less. This is so low that it's often undetectable
The key fact is this. People who care about good and better health buy Cassia cinnamon whereas they lose their health unknowingly by consuming it in big dosage and/or used in long term.
Therefore, it is advised to buy Ceylon cinnamon all the time…..
Yes. Ceylon cinnamon is expensive than Cassia. But, Look at closer. Why does consumer are not paying little premium for good & health products? Indeed, they might pay premium to buy good & health product.
