Gomez Hospital Pvt Ltd, in Avissawella, is the pioneer private hospital in Seethawakapura. Gomez Hospital was started as a Family Practice by our Founder and Chairman Dr. R P Weerasinghe, a MBBS graduate from the Colombo Medical Faculty with a Postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine, and a Member of the College of General Practitioners (MCGP). He commenced his work as a Family Physician at this centre in 1980, establishing the first private nursing home and family clinic to the people of Seethawakapura. Gomez Hospital was registered as a hospital in 1999 under the Health Ministry and is a member of the Private Health Regulatory Council.
Gomez Hospital is the only hospital providing Exercise ECG , 4D Scan, a 24 hour service through our fully equipped Laboratory, and a 24 hour Ambulance service in Seethawakapura.
