කොලොනොස්කොපි පරීක්ෂණය (Colonoscopy) සාර්ථකව සිදු කිරීමට පෙර, ආමාශයේ (large intestine) ඇතුළත පිරිසිදු වීම අතිශය වැදගත්. ඒ වෙනුවෙන් වෛද්‍ය උපදෙස් පිළිපදින්න ඕන. සාමාන්‍යයෙන් දෙන උපදෙස් මෙසේය:

🥗 ආහාර පිළිබඳ උපදෙස්

පරීක්ෂණයට දින 3–4 ක් පෙර

බීජ සහිත පලතුරු (ඇඹුල්, අතු, රටකජු, බඩඉරිඟු, අරළු ආදී) වලින් වලකින්න.

කොළගස්, කොස්, බීට්රූට්, බීන්ස් වගේ බොහෝ රේෂා (fiber) සහිත ආහාර වලින් වලකින්න.

සුදු පන්, රෝටි, සහල්, බිස්කට් වැනි ලේසියෙන් ජීර්ණ වන ආහාර ගන්න.

පරීක්ෂණයට දින 1 පෙර

දින පුරා පැහැදිලි ද්‍රව ආහාර පමණක් ගන්න: සුප්, ජුස් (පල්පය නැති), සාරු, ජෙලි, චා, කෝපි (කිරි නැති).

බරපත් ආහාර, කිරි, කිරිපාන වර්ග නොගන්න.

💊 බෙහෙත් පිළිබඳ උපදෙස්

වෛද්‍යවරයා ඔබට bowel preparation solution (පොලිඑතලීන් ග්ලයිකෝල් – PEG / Fleet / Sodium picosulfate වැනි) ලබා දෙයි.

එය උපදෙස් අනුව, සාමාන්‍යයෙන් පරීක්ෂණයට පෙර රාත්‍රියේ හෝ පරීක්ෂණය සදහා පැමිණීමට පෙර උදේ, බොන්න කියයි.

බොහෝ විට එය බොන විට බහු වාර ගිලීමටත්, එය සමග බොහෝ වතුර බීමත් අත්‍යවශ්‍ය වේ.

බෙහෙත් ගත් පසු බාත්රූමට තදින් යාම සිදු වේ – එය සාමාන්‍යයයි.

🚫 වලක්විය යුතු දේ

පරීක්ෂණයට පැමිණීමට 6–8 පැය පෙර solid food නොගන්න.

දින 1 පෙර හා පරීක්ෂණ දිනයේදී කිරි සහ දුඹුරු පානයන් වලකින්න.

වෛද්‍ය උපදෙස් නොගැන aspirin, blood thinners, diabetes දවස්පතා බෙහෙත් ස්වෙච්ඡයෙන් නවත්වන්න එපා.

📅 පරීක්ෂණ දිනයේ

හිස් ආමාශය සහිතව පැමිණෙන්න.

ඔබ පවතින රෝග, භාවිත කරන බෙහෙත්, හා ඇලර්ජි (allergy) පිළිබඳ වෛද්‍යවරයාට දන්වන්න.

ආපසු යාමට සහාය වන්න පුළුවන් පවුල් එකරුවක් හෝ මිතුරෙක් එක්කරගෙන එන එක හොඳයි, මන්ද නින්දමත් බෙහෙත් දිය හැක.
