Autism doesn’t have a single face, a single behaviour, or a single story. It’s a spectrum , beautifully wide and wonderfully varied.
What calms one person might overwhelm another. What helps one student focus, like noise cancelling headphones in a noisy classroom, might not be needed by someone else. And that’s the point, autism is not one-size fits-all. Understanding starts with accepting that each individual on the spectrum has their own unique strengths, sensitivities, and ways of navigating the world.
Let’s embrace the differences, adapt our spaces, and listen with empathy, because inclusion begins with understanding.
