I was working in the same hospital as house officer for 365 days where i was working 24*7 for 180days and 12-14hrs /day for remaining 180days for the salary of 55,000LKR(1774ruppees /day).
Many doctors may face similar situation like this!

After all these triggers and shame on social medias,going to the work happily knowing that most of the patients in government hospitals are poor and not knowing anything about social medias.
We are not GOD at all please treat us atleast as a human being 😭


( In my view -The doctor in the video clip appears to be an intern house officer. Undoubtedly, the internship period is one of the most challenging and stressful phases in a medical career. However, using a high-pitched tone or harsh words toward a patient can be hurtful and distressing for them.

At 2 AM, in an overcrowded ward and after hours of continuous work, emotions may run high, leading to moments of frustration. If a patient genuinely feels inconvenienced by such behavior, they have every right to address the matter with the doctor.

That said, recording a hidden video and spreading it on social media can misrepresent the incident and may unfairly impact the practitioner involved. Such actions can also trigger unnecessary reactions from others and distort the reality of the situation.

Let us strive to maintain self-discipline and avoid character assassination. Respect and professionalism should guide our actions in all circumstances.
