Patients are advised to consult a homeopath before starting on any treatment Vaish Sathasivam has been practicing homeopathy for fifteen years and has served nine years as the honorary treasurer of the Homeopathic Association of Ceylon. This association was inaugurated in 1951 by Dr C.V.S Corea whose efforts paved the way for the Homeopathy Act 1970 and the appointment of The Homeopathic Medical Council in Sri Lanka. She is a graduate of The College of Homeopathy, London and has worked at Ainsworths Homeopathic Pharmacy, London. Vaish attended post graduate study with Jeremy Sherr at The Dynamis School for Advanced Homeopathic Studies in U.K.
