He earned his medical degree (MD- Doctor of Medicine) at the St. Petersburg
State 1 st Medical University, St. Petersburg, Russia.
Dr. Dhilshan Thahir completed his post graduate Diploma in Tuberculosis and
Chest Diseases at the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo,
Sri Lanka.
He obtained his post graduate diploma in MCGP (Member of College of General
Practitioners) from the College of General Practitioners, Sri Lanka.
Dr. Dhilshan Thahir completed his Diploma in Diabetes Management at the
Martin Luther Christian University, Megala, India.
He then obtained his Fellowship in Diabetes Management from the Royal
Liverpool Academy, UK. He received his special training in wound care at the
Apollo Hospitals Chennai, India.
Dr. Dhilshan Thahir is a Member of the Council of S*x Education & Parenthood,
India.
He is also a Member of the Sri Lankan Association of Palliative Care.
Dr. Dhilshan Thahir speaks Sinhala, Tamil, English and Russian languages.
