Where Do I Start?
This is the question that stops most of us before we even begin. We overthink, we analyze, we convince ourselves we need the “right” time, the “right” plan, or the “right” motivation. But what if there’s no right or wrong way to start? What if the only thing that matters is the commitment to begin?
We’re often so hard on ourselves, waiting until life forces us to make a change. We procrastinate until the stress, the discomfort, or the pain becomes unbearable. But what if instead of trying to fix what feels broken, we simply started listening?
Our mind and body are always speaking to us. The tension in our shoulders, the anxious thoughts, the slouched posture—these aren’t just problems to correct; they’re signals. Our nervous system is constantly regulating itself, responding to stress, emotions, and our environment.
When we feel safe and supported, we open up.
When we feel threatened, we contract, physically and emotionally.
Take posture, for example. Instead of just trying to “fix” bad posture, ask yourself—why am I closing off?
Why am I rounding my shoulders and protecting my heart space?
What if instead of forcing my body into an upright position, I brought awareness to what my body is holding?
We don’t always have to understand our bodies; we have to feel them. Exploration, movement, breath—these are ways we reconnect with ourselves. And as we begin, we invite you to evolve your awareness beyond the physical—to something deeper, more expansive. Healing isn’t just about posture or pain; it’s about how we meet ourselves in every moment.
Where do you start? Right where you are. With curiosity. With a deep breath. With a choice to begin, even if it’s messy. Your body is waiting for you to listen. And we are here to support you, every step of the way.
