1 year down and many fairways to go!

Celebrating milestone with you is such a treat!

This year seems all the more special, coz alongside turning 12, you also seem to have stumbled upon something that seems to be close to a passion for you! (Although passion is a big word;)

But that my dear boy, as time goes by you will understand- is a BIG deal. Years go by, people get older and wiser, but the word passion, often stays elusive for most!

You have the drive, the want, the swing & the skill. Do what your heart desires of this, but always know Mummy & Daddy are your constant cheerleaders for life.

This course still remains one of the more picturesque courses I’ve been on till now! But with you I know, I will travel the world, walk on a million miles & maybe someday be addicted to the greens to!

So here’s to another 365 days of swings & smiles, coz your game is just getting started!

There was a short phase of my life, in my 20’s where judgement about others came instantaneously to me. About how they talked, dressed, what they said etc. I noticed it becoming somewhat of a habit. A habit I didn’t want to create and nurture. I didn’t want myself to that “judgy girl”. But it was still happening unconsciously.

The penny really dropped for me on one of my yoga trips, back in the day, where I remember reading a quote that really stayed with me for all times to come, and that is: “how we perceive others is simply a mirror of how we perceive ourselves”.

That changed everything. It helped me become so much more self aware and understand that judging came from a space of insecurity within myself. It had nothing to do with them, and everything instead to do with me!!!!

Now as and when I feel the judgmental side of me is creeping up, I ask myself “what does this say about you M?” “What makes you feel this way?” And that’s when the judgement turns quickly into a form of appreciation instead. A reminder to see the good in others, and if there ain’t no good (which is a hard spot to be in) then silence is GOLD. Coz cluttering your mental make up with judgement of others is like tarnishing your own energies.

But still, judging is inevitable. We do it on multiple fronts daily- and social media makes it all the more amplified.

So the next time you feel the Judggy elbow nudging ask yourself:

“Is this stemming from jealousy?”

“Am I feeling insecure about something?”

“Is there something lacking in my current life that’s making me feel this way?”

These simple question are a great starting point to help you peel back layers and do a little deep diving into your own mental and emotional equilibrium.

Remember it’s not about never judging again. It’s about becoming more self aware and self assured.

Create a healthier viewpoint of the world and the people in it. Feel the compassion for those who surround you.

is a MUST read for those are interested in taking control of their health & longevity, and not replying solely on “curative” measures, but keen on discovering the “preventive” route to manage and circumvent common diseases of modern society.
It’s an insightful read & one that had me hooked to it! A ton of podcasts by are a great way to consume all that he has to share as well. Tune into to find his podcasts there as well. I found myself flipping through the pages of the book as well as listening in to his talks.

CHANGE is Hard at first.
Messy in the middle & Gorgeous at the end!

That’s just how the past 2 months have been. Hard, messy, a tad bit lonely, but it’s all GORGEOUS from here onwards :)

Sharing the load is the best way to bond, adapt and to move forward.

Armaan has missed his grandparents, friends & family back home. Letters & post cards have been sent out to fill in that void.
Cooking skills have been sharpened, as one of the best down time activities- while at home, second only to screen time!
And us…. We do well at keeping it together 😜

Here’s to us finally feeling at home :)
