Queensbury Hospital (QH) is a fully pledged private hospital aiming to provide the best care of heal

QH is a Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) approved investment project. Investors are Sri Lnaka born dual nationals ( UK / Sri Lanka ) ( Pl. visit leadership page for investor profiles ) With the initial approvals from the authorities, construction of seven storied building complex was commenced in 2018. It was opened for patients after completing construction and installation of equipment, in

August 2020. With the shifting of General Hospital, Galle from Mahamodara and establishment of Medical Faculty of Ruhuna University in Karapitiya, the area was showing a significant demand for developing as a medical hub. As a result there was a vacuum for quality private health care facilities in the area due to urbanisation, growing demand for easy affordable and quality healthcare facilities etc. The main intension of Queensbury Hospitals was to fill this gap at least to a certain extent, by providing a high quality health care service at affordable cost.
