" Visiting Arthreya Ayurveda was by far the higlight of my trip to SriLanka. It was a quick drive from our accommodation in Weligama. The drive there felt almost "otherworldly" as you head up the jungle path to Lasantha's spa location. I had elevated blood pressure and cholesterol and Lesantha arranged for me to see an Ayurvedic doctor who came to consult with me on site. On a recent visit to my GP back home, all of my health markers are now in the normal range! I did a 7-day course of massages and baths that had me so relaxed and at peace. It would end with herbal baths outside in the jungle, sometimes spotting a cheeky monkey, or eagle in the trees above. But mostly it was the deep level of care and professionalism showed by Lesantha and his assistant Lesanthe that made me feel so nurtured and healed. Do yourself a favour and make a point of going there when in Weligama!
