KSM 9th Humanitarian Programme – Flood & Disaster Relief Project
Sarasavigama and Doluwa were among the areas severely affected by the Ditwa Cyclone and subsequent landslides in regions surrounding Kandy. The disaster resulted in more than 25 fatalities and left many families displaced and homeless.

The donated clothes were officially handed over to the Grama Niladhari Officer of the Sarasavigama Division for distribution among the affected residents. Prof. Arinda Dharmapala, Prof. Shenal Thalgahapitiya, and Dr. Senthil Chandrasekara participated in the programme, representing KSM. 08.12.2025
