Conceptual Design of Resort Hotel at Lenadora, Matale for private sector investor. I could not resist naming it "the anticipation" as this is conceptualized to be for the great Rawana once he wakes up form his long sleep.
The hotel is located where Dr. Mirando Obesekera mentions about sight seeing of Rawana during his Jungle walk.
The most interesting fact about the project is that its a conversion of an old brick factory into a water garden. Let me pay my tribute to Sinhala folklore with this effort.

Buildings are for people, and they do have an impact on society. Your home suggests how you may wake up in the morning, how you may dine with your loved ones and as you continue to work your office does a similar thing. This may be called a pattern or a customariness in which you live. In the widest sense of the word, your new building is going to be your culture, work, leisure or anything at all it houses.
Figuring out how you want your life to be is the first big challenge architects face. That’s why we creatively involve the total you in the design of your new building. We see architecture as one big, long collaborative and two way process. You as our client requires to be involved, you may see that the process is great, but you also will see that your building is art that enriches and improves your day to day life.
