In celebration of Poson Poya Day, which commemorates the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka, the Development Committee encouraged the Buddhist Society of the National Cancer Institute to organise a staff decoration competition.

The entries were evaluated by a sub-committee appointed by the Development Committee, and the top three teams were awarded gifts, sponsored by the Chairman, Mr. Binara Jayawardana.

In May 2025, we had the honour of donating medical supplies worth Rs. 2.9 million to Apeksha Hospital, including life-saving cancer medications and surgical equipment.

A special contribution of micro laryngeal scissors was also made for the ENT department, valued at over Rs. 500,000.

We’re proud to continue supporting the hospital’s efforts to deliver quality care to every patient.
