Had another opportunity to coordinate and supervise a timely needed project to DGHN.
An Eight bedded-fully equipped COVID High Dependency Unit was opened today. The project was donated by the MJF Charitable Foundation of Dilmah Group, and the cost of the project was 25 million rupees.

High Dependency Unit for critically ill Covid patients was opened on 25.05.2021. It's a six bedded HDU which could deliver services for very ill Covid patients.
It's a great achievement by the hospital which enables immense services for our public.

This was presented at the commemoration of World Patient Safety Day held on 17.09.2020 at the Quality Secretariat, Ministry of Health, Colombo.
This project was based on our values of "Quality & Safety, Teamwork, Compassionate Care and Accountability".
