- Fenugreek seeds – ½ tsp
- Black pepper – 1 tsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Chana dal – 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves – few
- Asafoetida – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
- Salt – as required
- Oil – 1 tsp

🔥 Preparation:

1. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add red chilies, coriander seeds, fenugreek, pepper, urad dal, chana dal, and roast until golden and aromatic.
2. Add curry leaves, sesame seeds, and roast lightly.
3. Add asafoetida and turmeric powder, turn off the flame.
4. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
5. Grind the roasted ingredients along with tamarind and salt into a coarse powder.
6. Store in an airtight jar.

✅ Serving: Mix 1–2 spoons of Tamarind Rice Powder with hot steamed rice and ghee/oil for a quick, tangy-flavored rice.
