With the utmost hope of helping the sick (specially long felt eye ailments) all over the world & also to inform such persons I thought of create this FB page. Gangula Weda Madura, both the father Somadasa Fernando and elder son Ishara Fernando are Sinhala Indigenous medical doctors are practicing there. Dr. Ishara Fernando has got certified by Indigenous Medical Council, Sri Lanka. Also they have awarded several times by various organisations. This doctor’s course of treatments is really supported by very devoted family members and staff members. All are very kind and understanding. All raw herbs (leaves, flowers, roots, seeds, etc) are freshly provided and all herbs are prepared in-house. Some Patients also volunteered to give their support. The most important factor that this is a place where money is the least concerned, only an excellent service is provided. Patients can offer any amount of money at their own accord & not compulsory. The donation box was kept for the same. He is a really Divine Human Being. This service is greatly appreciated. Not only free medicine, they provided tea, herbal drinks and good lunch Free of charge to all patients. There are around 500 patients treated every day. No religion, cast, creed, age or nationality is concerned. This famous Gangula Weda Madura is situated a near Gangula Temple, Panadura – Hirana road, Panadura, Sri Lanka. Doctors are available from 6am to 12noon every day except on Poya day and the next day. The patients who come from very far can get accommodations for very reasonable price at neighboring houses.
