✅ Successful Awareness Stall on Liver Cancer Care

We are delighted to share that our team from the Colombo North Centre for Liver Diseases (CNCLD), Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, successfully conducted a school exhibition stall on Liver Cancer Care at the Science and Technology Exhibition – Technovate 2025, held at St. Thomas Catholic International School, Seeduwa, Gampaha on 20th September 2025.

The stall focused on raising awareness about risk factors, early symptoms, and treatment options for liver cancer.

This initiative was made possible thanks to the dedication and hard work of our Demonstrators and medical students, who passionately educated and engaged the school community on this important health issue.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success! Together, we take another step forward in the fight against liver cancer. 💙💚

Guandong Buddhist association - China, donated an ambulance to M H Omar Liver Care Facility - Colombo North Centre For Liver Diseases, CNTH, Ragama on 23rd June 2025.

This donation was faciliated by Ministry of Foreign affairs , Sri Lanka - China Buddhist friendship association and Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya. Ambassador from People’s Republic of China attended the formal handing over event as the chief guest.

This timely gift will greatly improve the efficiency of patient care and ultimately improve the outcomes of the liver transplant program. 🙏
