We are conducting a kid's yoga and meditation class for the adorable children in Trincomalee

Our Yoga classes help improve children's physical & mental health and overall wellbeing. Classes are engaging, inclusive, age-appropriate and fun! We currently offer term programs for 5 - 15 years.

Practicing yoga on a beach offers numerous benefits, including enhanced physical strength, improved mental well-being, and a deeper connection to nature.

The practice of beach yoga is great for both beginners and more seasoned yogis because it can help you challenge yourself, strengthen your body, deepen your poses, improve your outlook on life, and generally stay healthy.

Whether you are looking for a more challenging workout, or simply just want a change of environment, doing your favorite yoga poses, in your favorite yoga gear at the beach can be a very enriching experience.

With sunscreen, it can be more, but most studies show that 10-15 minutes is enough to boost the brain’s production of serotonin. In addition to increased production of vitamin D, sunlight exposure also triggers better moods and a boost in energy, by supporting your bones, blood cells, and immune system. Think of it working like a charger to your phone, except it’s a charger for your body. Healthy amounts of sun absorption can even fight depression and lead to improved sleep.

Practicing mindfulness and yoga helps children build their self-confidence as they develop positive self-talk, engage in new activities, grow self-awareness and develop inner strength, muscle tone and body-awareness.

Younger Yoga’s programs are strength based. Children learn to embrace what makes them different and to confidently share this with the world.

Anahata Yoga Trincomalee would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Yoga Acharyan Aaryan from India and Yoga Acharya Nilakshi of Bhudeva Yoga and Fitness Lounge, colombo for joining us and contributing to our two-day workshop on Sivananda Hatha Yoga Flow. It was truly a beautiful journey of learning and sharing the wisdom of Sivananda Hatha Yoga and yoga in general.
