Secda Special School SeCDA is a special needs education center in Hemmathagama, Sri Lanka, serving 25 children with Autism, Down’s Syndrome, ADHD etc.

Founded in 2001, our dedicated team provides compassionate, individualized care, sustained by the generosity of our donors. SeCDA, founded in 2001, is a nurturing center in Hemmathagama, Sri Lanka, dedicated to supporting children with special needs. We currently serve 25 students with conditions such as Autism, Down’s Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and learning disabilities. Our mission is to em

power each child with personalized educational programs that cater to their unique abilities and challenges. Our team of 9 skilled staff members, including experienced special needs educators, is passionate about fostering growth, independence, and self-confidence in every child. We believe in creating an inclusive, compassionate learning environment where each child can thrive at their own pace. SeCDA operates entirely through the kind donations of our supporters, ensuring that we can continue providing vital services to children and their families. On Sunday, 1st February 2026, our special education teachers participated in an enriching awareness training programme from 8.30 AM to 3.30 PM at SeCDA Special School.

Planned by our Principal, Mr. Kamil Sufiyan, and implemented by the management, this practical session was designed to enhance our teachers' skills and knowledge in special education.

We were privileged to have Mr. Muhajirieen, our esteemed Board Secretary and current Principal of Nankurgama Muslim School, Mawanella, as our resource person. His expertise and insights made this a truly valuable learning experience for our dedicated educators.

கடந்த ஞாயிறன்று (01.02.2026) காலை 8.30 முதல் மாலை 3.30 வரை SeCDA விசேட பாடசாலையின் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கான விழிப்புணர்வு பயிற்சி பட்டறை ஒன்று எமது பாடசாலை வளாகத்தில் நடைபெற்றது.

அதிபர் திரு. காமில் சுஃபியான் அவர்களின் திட்டமிடலின் கீழ், நிர்வாகத்தின் பூரண ஒத்துழைப்புடன் நடத்தப்பட்ட இப்பயிற்சியில், வளவாளராக எமது நிர்வாக செயலாளர் மற்றும் நான்குர்கம முஸ்லிம் வித்தியாலயத்தின் அதிபர் திரு. முஹாஜிரீன் அவர்கள் கலந்து சிறப்பித்தார்.

2026 පෙබරවාරි 1 වන ඉරිදා, පෙ.ව. 8.30 සිට ප.ව. 3.30 දක්වා SeCDA විශේෂ පාසලේ අපගේ ගුරුවරුන් සඳහා දැනුවත් කිරීමේ පුහුණු වැඩසටහනක් පවත්වන ලදී.

විදුහල්පති කාමිල් සුෆියාන් මහතා විසින් සැලසුම් කරන ලද මෙම ප්‍රායෝගික සැසිය පාසල් කළමනාකාරිත්වය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන ලදී.

අපගේ පරිපාලන ලේකම් සහ නාන්කුර්ගම කනිෂ්ඨ මුස්ලිම් විද්‍යාලයේ විදුහල්පති මුහාජිරීන් මහතා පුහුණුකරු ලෙස කටයුතු කළේය.

22nd of January 2026 marked a truly special chapter in SeCDA Special School's 25-year journey as we welcomed a wonderful group of Turkish well-wishers!

Our talented students showcased an incredible performance that left everyone beaming with pride. The visit was coordinated by Brother Afwan and organised by Principal Mr. Kamil Sufiyan.

Our Turkish friends gifted each student a pair of school shoes and sweets, made a generous donation for our school's development, and promised continued financial support. They conveyed their heartfelt wishes and appreciation to our staff and management. We also presented our future plans for potential collaboration.

Their warmth and genuine support have filled us with renewed energy as we step into 2026. This isn't just a milestone, it's the beginning of a beautiful partnership that will transform countless young lives.

சகோதரர் அஷ்ஃபான் அவர்களின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பிலும், அதிபர் திரு. காமில் சுஃபியான் அவர்களின் ஏற்பாட்டிலும் நடைபெற்ற இந்த சந்திப்பு மிகவும் சிறப்பானதாகவும், அர்த்தமுள்ளதாகவும் அமைந்தது.

துருக்கிய நலன் விரும்பிகள் எமது மாணவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் பாடசாலை காலணிகளும், இனிப்புக்களும் பரிசளித்தனர். மேலும், பாடசாலை மேம்பாட்டிற்கான நன்கொடையுடன், தொடர்ந்தும் நிதியுதவி வழங்குவதாகவும் உறுதியளித்தனர்.
