අයර්ලන්තයේ දී දරුවෙක් එක පාසලකින් තවත් පාසලකට මාරු කරනවනම් අපි දැනුවත් කරන්න ඕනි කාවද?
Child benefit ගත්තට අපි අයර්ලන්තය ඇතුලත පාසලකට දරුවව දාන නිසා එතනට දැනුම දෙන්න ඕන වෙන්නෑ. NCS ගත්තත් දිවා සුරැකුම් ආයතනය වෙනස් වෙන්නෙ නැත්නම් පැය ගාන වෙනස් වෙන්නෙ නැත්නම් ඒකටත් දැනුම් දෙන්න ඕන නෑ.
එහෙනම් දැනුම් දෙන්න ඕන කාටද?
1. Both Schools
• Inform the current (old) school in writing that your child will be transferring.
• Give notice at least a few weeks in advance if possible.
• The school will prepare a Pupil Transfer Form and forward records (attendance, reports, etc.) to the new school.
• Inform the new school and provide necessary documents:
• Birth certificate
• PPS number
• Previous school’s contact details
• Proof of address (sometimes requested)
• Any reports (educational, psychological, speech therapy, etc.)
2. Tusla – Education Welfare Service
• Normally, schools handle this, not parents.
• Under the Education (Welfare) Act 2000, schools must notify Tusla’s Educational Welfare Services (EWS) when a pupil is removed from the register.
• This ensures that the child’s education is continuously monitored and no gaps occur.
3. School Transport (if applicable)
• If your child uses School Transport (Bus Éireann), you should inform them about the school change to update routes or apply for new tickets.
4. After-School Care / Clubs / Extracurriculars
• Inform any after-school programs, clubs, or childminders about the change in schedule or location.
5. Health or Support Services (if applicable)
• If your child receives services such as speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, or special education supports, you should:
• Inform the therapist/service provider and the new school’s SEN coordinator (Special Educational Needs).
• They may need to transfer reports or coordinate continuity of care.
