Good Morning Checklist for a Successful Day
1. Wake Up Intentionally
☐ Avoid snoozing the alarm
☐ Open curtains for natural light
☐ Take 3 deep, slow breaths before getting out of bed
2. Hydrate & Nourish
☐ Drink a full glass of water (room temp or warm with lemon)
☐ Eat a balanced breakfast (protein + healthy carbs + fruit/veg)
3. Move Your Body
☐ 5–15 min stretch, yoga, or light exercise
☐ Quick walk or fresh-air break if possible
4. Mental Clarity
☐ Spend 5–10 min in quiet reflection, meditation, or prayer
☐ Journal 3 things you’re grateful for
☐ Review your intention for the day (not just tasks—your focus)
5. Plan Your Day
☐ Review your top 3 priorities
☐ Check calendar for meetings/events
☐ Block time for deep work & breaks
6. Self-Presentation
☐ Personal hygiene routine (shower, skincare, grooming)
☐ Dress for your goals, not just comfort
7. Mindset Boost
☐ Read or listen to something uplifting for 5–10 min
☐ Affirmations or mental pep-talk (“I am capable. I am focused.”)
8. Final Check Before Starting Work
☐ Tidy your workspace for a clear mind
☐ Silence distractions (phone notifications, unnecessary tabs)
☐ Take one energising breath and begin your first task.
