Young people have special Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights needs that remain unmet, and to address these SRHR needs, the use of innovative approaches is required to ensure access to safe, effective, affordable, and acceptable SRHR services.

A big thank you to our Youth Program Assistant, Ms. Kulubo Nyamahlorpu Koquoi, for representing us at that event.

Our youth group (Youth Action Movement of Liberia) today joined the rest of the world to celebrate menstrual hygiene day, by visiting few schools in rural Montserrado.

During the visit, we give health talks about menstrual hygiene management and share some sanitary materials.

The focus of this year’s celebration is to create awareness for the social stigmatization of menstruation.

May 28th of every year is celebrated as Menstrual Hygiene Day.
