My condolences to those family ๐Ÿ’”

On Tuesday, a fuel tanker explosion in B**g county claimed the lives of at least 40 people and injured 42 others. In response, the World Health Organization (WHO) stepped up with a vital donation of emergency medical supplies.

"We must ensure timely care for the victims of this tragedy," said Dr. Moses Jeuronlon, WHO Liberia Officer in Charge. "These supplies will help ease the burden on stretched health facilities and alleviate the suffering of those affected."

The WHO donation included essential items like pain medication, antibiotics, fluids, and wound dressing materials. These will be distributed to hospitals in B**g, Nimba, and Montserrado counties, where the majority of victims are receiving treatment.

Liberia's Health Minister, Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah, expressed her gratitude for WHO's swift response: "WHO has always been a reliable partner, and these supplies will be crucial in treating the injured."

So far, over 80 cases have been reported, with 42 suffering severe injuries. Every bit of support counts.
