Camp Imagination Recap – Fendall, Yamah Town Edition .

Friday we took another exciting step forward in our mission to bring joy, learning, and play to children in low-income communities! Our return to Fendall, Yamah Town (Mount Barclay) was super awesome!
We kicked things off with icebreakers to get everyone moving. Then came a meaningful character-building session focused on forgiveness and patience—brought to life through thoughtful skits performed by our amazing campers.
We also revisited our personal hygiene lesson, with a special spotlight on dental care. It was heartwarming to see how much the kids remembered and were eager to share!
Our afternoon was packed with hands-on fun:
A team challenge where campers engineered floating water crafts designed to carry weight—yes, they really floated!
And a colorful arts & crafts session, with campers painting and designing their own jewelry.
Lunch was served, laughter filled the air, and memories were made. One of the day’s biggest highlights? Fulfilling a special camper request—we proudly distributed backpacks, school supplies, and personal hygiene kits to 65 joyful campers!
We’re deeply grateful to: Reverend Daniel Oliver, for always welcoming us with open arms .

Happy New Year To Our Amazing Donors!!

Thanks to your kindness and generosity, Camp Imagination had the privilege of serving 485 children in Liberia this year. Here’s what we achieved together:
• Hosted 4 recreational day camps in 4 different counties.
• Taught lessons on character development, dental, and oral hygiene.
• Engaged campers in STEM projects and arts and crafts activities.
• Provided home-cooked meals and hygiene takeaway bags.
• Donated feminine hygiene products to victims of gender-based violence.
• Supplied school materials to kindergarten students.

Your support made all this possible, and we at Camp Imagination are deeply grateful for you!

🌟 A Memorable and Fulfilling 6-Week Journey! 🌟

We concluded our incredible 6-week program last Wednesday at the Alan N. Korlison Memorial School in Chocolate City, Gardnersville. A huge thanks to Mrs. Jeneh Logan and her mom, Mrs. Louise Korlison, for the heartfelt invitation.

Our Summer Mission wrapped up with a blast! Our campers had an absolute blast with activities like building a boat challenge, step-by-step scenery painting, and paper plate crafting. And let's not forget the delicious lunch, care packages, and snack bags!

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all our donors, volunteers, and well-wishers for their unwavering support. You've helped put smiles on our campers' faces, and we deeply appreciate each and every one of you.

We look forward to continuing and expanding this initiative in the future!

🌟 Camp Imagination Hits the Road Again! 🌟

Yesterday, Camp Imagination was on the move, bringing joy and excitement to Sherman Farm, Margibi County! We hosted a fantastic day camp for 75 kids at a local school, and what a day it was! 🎉

From engaging activities to a nice lunch and take-home goodies, the kids had a blast!. The smiles and laughter were truly heartwarming. 😊

A HUGE thank you to our dedicated team, volunteers, and supporters who make these events possible. Your commitment and generosity continue to inspire and empower our young campers.

🌟CAMP IMAGINATION'S LARGEST FEAT YET! 🌟

This weekend, Camp Imagination embarked on our most exciting adventure so far! Thanks to the generous support of our amazing donors, we successfully hosted a one-day camp in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County. 🎉

Campers had a blast learning about important character traits that make a good citizen, adopting healthy habits, and participating in a team-bonding marshmallow tower challenge. They also got creative with paper plate animal arts and crafts, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and went home with takeaway goodies and a care package. 🎨🏆🍽️

We originally prepared for 100 children, but due to an overwhelming turnout, we welcomed an additional 40 campers, bringing our total to 140! We couldn’t turn them away, and seeing the smiles and joy on their faces made it all worthwhile. 😊

The opportunity to provide these children with a new experience and a day filled with fun was truly special. We are incredibly grateful to all our donors, whose generosity made this unforgettable day possible. 🙏

If your community wants Camp Imagination to visit and be of service to your children please inbox us using my page, Evelyn Ware Sandi or Camp Imagination Lib FB page. We are scheduled to be in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County and the B**g Mines area shortly. We still have a few open spots. Request will be granted on a first come, first serve basis. We would prefer to work with children ages 4 to 12 in low income communities in the outskirts of town and counties that we can reach in a timely manner.

Today we started our journey on a path to providing recreational and educational camp activities to children in low income neighborhoods. What better place to begin than our childhood community in Fendall,Yamah town in Mount Barclay. We began by doing icebreakers and moved on to a lesson on character counts. We placed emphasis on what it means to be a good citizen. One who is respectful, responsible, caring and fair. Evelyn did a lesson on Personal hygiene with emphasis on dental health. We ended with a team bonding activity and an arts and craft project that commemorates Liberia’s Independence Day. Lunch was served and a beautiful time was had by all.

A special “Thank You” to Reverend Daniel Oliver for hosting us, Ms. Massa the only volunteer teacher who has committed to serving Kindergarteners most of whom are are above the “normal age” of a typical kindergarten. To all our donors in Liberia and abroad THANK YOU for believing in our mission and vision and supporting our cause. We appreciate you!!

Next Stop, Robertsport, Grand Capemount County!! The Hawaii of Liberia!! Camp Imagination can’t wait to be of service to our children .
