MediBridge Access International Helps First Client Before Official Launch
MediBridge Access International, a new medical service company preparing to launch in Liberia, has already helped its very first client—before officially opening its doors. The company says this early success shows how their services can make healthcare easier and faster for people who need medical help.
MediBridge Access International plans to connect patients with the right doctors and medical specialists. Many people in Liberia and other places find it difficult to get appointments or locate qualified doctors. MediBridge says it wants to solve this problem by offering fast, affordable, and reliable access to medical experts.
One of the company’s programs is called," “Access to quality health".” This program works like a one-stop center where people can find the right specialist for their health needs. MediBridge already has a network of doctors in areas such as women’s health, cancer care, bone and joint treatment, brain and nerve care, kidney treatment, heart health, urinary and male health, child health, family medicine, and pharmacy consultations.
The story of the first client began when CEO Mr. Charles W. Howard was talking with a friend about MediBridge’s upcoming launch. His friend suddenly told him she needed the service right away and wanted to be the first client. She explained that her sister had been trying for years to find a good eye doctor but didn’t know where to go.
Even though the company had not launched, CEO Charlie and Executive Director Samuel Bassie decided to help. They explained that the service would cost $5 for the information, and a separate cost if they had to make an appointment. The client agreed immediately.
The team quickly contacted the eye clinic at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center (JFK). In less than two hours, they found the right doctor and had all the details ready. When they informed the client, she was surprised at how fast the service was. Her sister even received a call from a MediBridge representative giving her the doctor’s contact information.
The client was very impressed and paid $10 for the assistance. She also promised to return to have MediBridge set up the appointment once she had the doctor’s fees.
CEO Charlie thanked team members Leo Kollie and Richard Amoah for helping make the process smooth. The patient, Favor, said she was very grateful and would gladly tell others about how MediBridge helped her.
This first success story shows that MediBridge Access International can make a real difference. As the company prepares for its official launch, this early achievement gives hope that MediBridge will play an important role in improving healthcare in Liberia and beyond.
