The Liberia National Wheelchair Basketball Federation (LNWBF) 🇱🇷🏀 has received major support from president Joseph Nyumah boakai ,who has purchased 24 brand-new sports wheelchairs for the federation.
According to the Federation president Amb Lionel Johnson , President Boakai also pledged to procure an additional 76 sports wheelchairs, bringing the total to 100 wheelchairs for wheelchair basketball development in Liberia.
This initiative marks a historic milestone for wheelchair basketball in the country and demonstrates the government’s continued commitment to the growth and advancement of adaptive sports in Liberia 🇱🇷💪🔥
The Federation expressed gratitude to President Boakai for his support and dedication toward empowering athletes with disabilities across the nation
