MAH is excited to announce the arrival of essential new equipment for our maternity ward, received this morning. A huge thank you to Dr. Barbara Meyer and the Healthy Lesotho team, whose tireless efforts raised the funds necessary to support this important need.

Your generosity will have a lasting impact on the care we can provide to mothers and newborns. This donation is part of our broader effort to make MAH a safer and more comfortable place for all our patients, no matter their background.

💜 Celebrating World Prematurity Day 💜

Yesterday, we came together to raise awareness about premature births and support the tiny warriors who fight every day. Although traditionally observed on November 17, we marked this special day with impactful activities here at Maluti Adventist Hospital.

The event featured a powerful talk by a mother who shared her inspiring journey of raising a premature baby born six years ago, reminding us of the strength and resilience of these families. We also demonstrated Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) and discussed practical ways to prevent premature births through proper prenatal care.

Small actions truly make a big impact in saving lives and supporting brighter futures. Let’s continue to stand with our premature babies and their families! 💜
