„MICHAELSON boutique HOTEL“ is one of the top rated hotels in West Lithuania. From here You will easily reach any place of Klaipėda region and the Baltic seaside. The waters have always influenced the architecture of the port city, for sure our character and identity as well. Established in a restored building dating back to the 18th century and active since then, „MICHAELSON boutique HOTEL“ is named, in his honor and memory, after the first owner of what then were warehouses, the merchant Epraheim Michaelson. This building at this present moment is unique, therefore a protected marine heritage monument, enlisted in Lithuania's Cultural Values Registry.
Over a long time it's been proven creativity is influenced not only by personal skills, but the adquired knowledge, flexible thinking, the surrounding environment also. We believe we can charm You as well with the attention nurtured in the details, the quality of the services and the inspiring atmosphere. When creating a future together here, we believe in values.
From the very beginning, we are members of the Lithuanian Association of Hotels and Restaurants. In September 2016 the State Department of Tourism issued us the 4*PLUS evaluation and we celebrated our first anniversary by becoming members of the international group „Hôtels de Charme & de Caractère“, the first from the Baltic states. In October 2017 Klaipėda's Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Craft awarded us for the „Impetuos start“ and we also became finalists of the „International Hospitality Awards“... In 2019, meeting all requirements, „MICHAELSON boutique HOTEL“ becomes member of the sustainable tourism project "Joint eco-sign for Lithuania's-Latvia's restaurants and hotels in cultural objects”, implemented under INTERREG V-A Latvia-Lithuania Programme 2014-2020. In words of Jan Peter Bergkvist, an expert from Sweden, the idea of combining sustainable tourism and heritage is unique. Significant also is that business not only restores and revives the heritage objects at its own expense, but contributes to their preservation, accessibility and attractiveness, as well as a sustainable development of the region.
