We, people, have one very painful and difficult topic. This often comes up in conversations, a huge human pain is associated with it. This is a topic of betrayal. A countless amount of times I heard this from people saying it about ... anyone:
⛈ "He betrayed me!"
⛈ “She betrayed our relationship!”
⛈ “They betrayed our children!”
Betrayed, abandoned, framed - this is not even all of the synonyms.
When it comes to marital relationships (people make vows and take oaths), betrayal of the Motherland (there is also an oath of allegiance) - everything is clear here. Betrayal is a violation of an oath, a violation of allegiance.
But when it comes to friendship, business, other types of cooperations or relationships. What is this about? In this case, about unfulfilled expectations. And the concept of allegiance/betrayal has little to do with it. You adults, did a common thing, saw and knew each other, did not swear to anything ... Then why does it cause so many heavy feelings? Pain, disgust, bitterness, horror ... would be hard to list everything. I think the most terrible betrayal is the betrayal of the feelings and expectations of the child. Parents bringing a small person to this world, take an unspoken oath of allegiance. “I promise to always love you more than life, to protect you from this cruel world, from all troubles and misfortunes. "Take care, feed and do everything, everything for you." And then something happens ... The word was broken, couldn’t help, didn’t support - the world of the child is collapsing at that exact moment. Forever. And now he bears the seal of this betrayal all his life. And through this prism, he looks at all people and the world around him. And God forbid, someone did something not as expected. At this moment, he becomes a traitor. Although there were no thoughts of such kind. In fact, we are little children who were once betrayed by the most important people ... @ London, United Kingdom
