This is an invitation to start •2025• with a strong and conscious intention, which we will step into this new cycle with.

During this journey we will use Conscious Connected Breathwork, which will guide us into a meditative flow state. Here we will have the ability to release stuck emotions, tension and stress while creating space for new and invigorating energy to take place.

~Together may we breathe this new energy in and let go of all that no longer serves us~

During the ceremony we will also travel around the world through a landscape of sound- Tibetan singing bowls, didgeridoo, charango, guitar, flutes and the voice. The high vibrations of these instruments will help bring us deeper into meditation and connection with our mind, body & spirit.

-When? Jan 12th • 4-7pm

-Where? Asana Zen • Lukiškių 3 Vilnius

-Cost? €30

Make sure to reserve your spot as spaces are limited.

Send us a message if you have any questions!

Mmmmm, I've been basking in my newest E flute, which got me thinkin'.. A new flute feels much like a new lover- so much excitement, curiosity and delight in discovery! Each flute has its own unique color, character and flavor, just like us:) This one's high notes are particularly sweet..

On another note (pardon the pun), the bansuri has been one of my most powerful daily breathwork practices.. I remember when I just started playing I was feeling so "high" each time and wondering why.. Breathwork, pranayama, is why:) To play this wind instrument is to work deeply with our own wind, our prana, by using breath control and taking deep, conscious diaphragmatic breaths. The dance of notes, vibrations and breath bringing the nervous system into a regulated and deeply meditative state, out of the mind and into the body, where true healing can take place. I can't imagine a more fitting combination than music and breathwork and I hope you get to explore some of it too. Stay tuned for upcoming classes (in Lithuania) and workshops in the works this summer. I'm looking forward to sharing and exploring together🙏🕉️🤍

In the meantime, here's a taste of raag marwa from the Himalayas!

Some snaps from a powerful breathwork/ voice activation/ sound bath workshop I recently co-facilitated with .hanuman.cg and gong master Sanj at the Ta**ra Fest at Love Temple.

What's the connection between these modalities?

We are all walking talking breathing instruments. We have sophisticated resonance chambers and vocal mechanism to produce the most magical and dynamic soundscapes and expression. This sacred instrument that we carry within us at all times on this earth is powered by the breath, prana, our life force. If our breath is restricted- our instrument (voice) is restricted, and vice versa.

I myself have struggled with expressing and the shame that I acquired around expression- fear of being seen, being heard, being "too much", not being enough. Through sharing this work and practice I am also always working and practicing with myself as well. I have found the breath to be the one thing that made the most sense in my healing journey, whether it was through breathing exercises, singing or playing instruments (most of them powered by my breath).

Also, more importantly, my name is Arija, which means air:)

Didn't have much of a choice there I suppose.

Sending everyone in the world love in these crazy times and a gentle reminder to pause and connect with our sacred instruments. 🌬️🙏🕉️

Today a client asked to take a video of my instruments, so here's a sneak peak into some of the highly vibrational instruments I use during a breathwork/sound bath session. The audio isn't very clear but at least you can catch a glimpse: Tibetan singing bowls, bansuris and didgeridoo.

Bhastrika (Bellow's breath)

Feelin' sluggish?.. 🐛

Try this exercise for an all natural, full power energy boost! 😉

This practice also strengthens the respiratory system, clears the sinuses, detoxifies the body and centers the mind. It's a great way to prepare yourself for meditation or get some of those creative juices flowing.

❗Keep in mind that both the inhale AND the exhale are active (forceful).

Due to the energizing effects it's recommended to practice this in the mornings or if you're in a mid- afternoon slump.

Happy breathing! 🌬

* this is a slightly more advanced breathing excercise compared to Kapalbhati (where only the exhale is forceful). You can watch my video on how to do Kapalbhati🙏

* do NOT practice this exercise if you are pregnant or have a heart condition.
