Two intense and inspiring days in Paris 🇫🇷

Thank you to all the dentists who joined “The One & The Two – Anterior Composite Restorations” course. Your focus, questions, discussions and dedication to improving your craft made this experience truly special.

It was a pleasure to share techniques, work side by side, and see how quickly new skills turn into confident results.

Grateful for the amazing group, great energy and meaningful conversations during and after the course.

Paris, you were wonderful.
Looking forward to the next one. 🙏

Big thanks to partners .dental.france

Minimal intervention is not a trend.
It’s respect for biology ❤️

Almost reversible. Always repairable.
That’s my definition of longevity.

Teenagers don’t need months of dentistry — they need precision, efficiency, and results that will age well.

Today I am using the clinical workflow timings has showed next to his pictures for years. Just to show you that I practice the real-world dentistry. The one that is achievable for you, too.

No overcomplication 🫶🏻 soon, an article describing techniques will be available at

Opacity Matching ia a hot topic 💥💥💥

For me Shade Matching is rather an Opacity Matching!

Everyone is talking that direct anteriors is like painting on a blanc canvas - well blanc would be white 🤍, but somehow if I look into deep of the mouth it is black 🖤

I hope you enjoyed the diagram I made to explain the importance of the opacity for a non-dentist 🫶🏻

A case shows a canine chroma & opacity match and a bit of lateral mismatch 💥

Shade Matching is a headache for everyone!
For me - I focus on opacity!

This movie was made to explain a non-dentist about the importance of opacity matching.
For me - when everyone talks about dentistry as painting on a canvas and here I am stuck on filling deep black holes. Can you relate?
What do you think?

I teach my effective, efficient and predictable ways on my The One & The Two Composite Courses 💥💥💥

Tennis 🎾 trauma

The first time I saw the patient was late 2024 (last slides) after first aid he already received by his friend, who happens to be an amazing prosthodontist/orthodontist. Patient had a fractured crown un upper right lateral - luckily fragment was re-attached. Patient saw me because he wanted to get rid of white enamel infractions.

I could have done the same restorative treatment more than a year ago, but we decided to start with orthodontics first and keep that motivation going for a year untill we moved to a much improved smile.
Thank you for doing what is the best - beautiful wide arch for a beautiful smile 🫶🏻

Do you drill out the infraction? Or try to infiltrate with multiple Icon etch & infiltration? Or a mixture?

Food trap depends on tightness or shape of contact point?
I am sure both are important, but I focus on shape - tightness is a job of a great rubber dam sheet 💥

What about you: Clear silicone injection moulding? Stamping? Or maybe you are going 🤠 style and go for freehand?

Sorry Gen Z, as millennial as I am - I just had to use this soundtrack 😆

Received a message with a picture “please help as Christmas time padel game has gone wrong 😑”. Well, words meant nothing, but the picture was worth a thousand words.

Previous composite - not mine - took a disc and removed some of it as I don’t know if I can micro-etch it. Had no time and no plan. I call this - a temp as these two centrals should be restored indirect 👑
