Didžiuojamės Paulina laimėjus apdovanojimą Open Readings konferencijoje! 🏆🎉
This year marks the first presentation of the Open Readings Research Excellence Award, established by the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC) to honour outstanding achievements in the fields of Physics and Natural Sciences. By supporting early-career researchers, this award contributes meaningfully to the growth of the scientific community and the advancement of knowledge.
We are pleased to announce the winners:
🏅Paulina Kazlauskaitė – recipient in the Bachelor’s/Master’s category, for identifying plasma miRNA signatures predictive of radiotherapy-induced cardiotoxicity and elucidating the differential biological effects of ultrahigh-dose-rate FLASH versus conventional irradiation.
🏅Gediminas Usevičius – recipient in the PhD category, for advancing pulsed-EPR spectroscopy and designing ultra-sensitive probes to uncover quantum tunneling and phase-transition dynamics in hybrid metal–organic frameworks and perovskites.
The award recognizes significant scientific contributions made over the past two years. Each laureate is granted a prize valued at €3,000, which includes €2,500 in access to FTMC’s open-access services and a €500 monetary award.
We extend our sincere congratulations to the winners for their excellence in research and we express our gratitude to FTMC for initiating this important recognition.
