🔍 Diversity at Flen Health – Powered by Mixed Generations 💼

At Flen Health, we believe that innovation thrives in a dynamic and diverse environment through the multiplicity of perspectives and heritages. This leads to the creation of a richer learning environment fostered by mentoring and knowledge sharing.

Currently, our team is made up of several generations, ranging from young professionals in their twenties at the start of their careers to seasoned experts who solidify the company's know-how. The most represented age group is 30-34, and the average age is 38, which reflects our dynamic and forward-thinking culture. We are proud to be a young, agile, and innovative company constantly evolving to meet the future needs of advanced skin healing.

A work environment that blends different generations brings a variety of visions and experiences, enabling us to find more creative solutions. Younger employees can offer new perspectives and digital expertise, while older employees can share their wisdom and experience, as Cassandra Him, Supply Chain & Packaging Manager, points out: "In a mix-generational team, senior employees bring deep industry knowledge, while younger colleagues contribute new tools and digital approaches. Together, they drive innovation."

Andy Wilding, Sales and Marketing Director - UK & Ireland, manages a team of around twenty people and enjoys the diversity within the company: "Working within a mixed generational team gives us the opportunity and benefits of blending exuberance with experience whilst sharing an esprit de corps that binds us as a group and allows us to believe that together we can achieve our common goal. It creates the perfect environment for enjoyable, positive and forward-thinking teamwork."

Our Flenners drive our mission! And with such a vibrant mix of ages and backgrounds, we are not just adapting to change, we are setting the standard. 💥

⏰"Time Constraints on Nurses" is one of the most significant issues facing the healthcare industry today.

In a recent brief interview with The Lindsay Leg Club Foundation, our Sales & Marketing Director UK & Ireland, Andy Wilding, shares his thoughts on how models like the Leg Clubs may assist in delivering high-quality wound care despite limited time and resources.

As a proud Industry Partner of the Lindsay Leg Club Foundation, Flen Health supports practical, patient-centric solutions that empower clinicians and improve results.

Leg health deserves more attention!

That’s why Flen Health is supporting Legs Matter Week, an initiative focused on raising awareness of lower limb and foot conditions such as leg ulcers, lymphoedema, and chronic wounds.🦵

Many of these conditions are underdiagnosed and undertreated. Early detection and appropriate care are key to improving outcomes.💙

🎉 25 Years of Flen Health – Celebrated in Lisbon! 🇵🇹💙

What a milestone. What a journey. What a celebration!

Last week, our Flenners came together from across different entities in vibrant Lisbon to mark 25 years of purpose-driven innovation in wound and skin healing. Surrounded by rich culture and shared values, our anniversary celebration was more than a tribute to our past, it was a bold step toward an exciting future.

🌟 From inspiring guest speakers like:
- Duncan Stevens, who energised us on influence and leadership,
- Dr. Margarida Cerqueira, surgery resident at the Hospital Pediátrico de Coimbra, and
- Paulo Alves, Deputy Director of the Institute of Health Sciences and the Director of the School of Nursing (Porto), both at Universidade Católica Portuguesa
..to the emotional appearance of our founder and owner, Philippe Sollie, who reminded us why Flen Health exists.

💡 We proudly welcomed our new CEO, Sandrine Letellier, whose energy and strategic vision are already shaping the next exciting chapter. Together, we explored Flen Health’s strategic evolution, honouring where we came from while confidently looking at what is in store for us in the coming years.

✨ And of course, we celebrated! A high-spirited team-building experience and a city treasure hunt through Lisbon’s charming streets brought discovery, engagement, and camaraderie. The anniversary party was the perfect moment to toast our achievements and dreams, surrounded by colleagues who felt more like family.

To everyone who has been part of this journey, thank you! Here’s to 25 years of healing, growing, and innovating – and to the many more ahead! 💫
