Yesterday was the kickoff for our Spring Reset program. This program is about creating sustainable habits both in exercise and movement as well as in nutrition.

6 weeks ahead of us with 2 workouts a week, app workouts with focus on strength and flexibility and every week movement and nutrition challenges. Nutrition has a clear focus every week with a chosen topic varying from understanding the different macronutrients to how to build muscle and learning about gut health.

Both and myself look forward to coaching this group to better and sustainable habits!

Prenatal workouts are one of my favorites to coach. Adjusting the intensity and the moves as the pregnancy progresses. Ensuring a safe way to move and working a lot on the posterior chain of the body. Strong glutes and back will help to avoid getting lower back pain once the gravity kicks in when the belly grows 🤰🏼.
Moderate intensity exercise, 150 mins per week is the minimum recommendation for pregnant women. Let’s go!

It is time to have a little break from the normality and just rest. I thank you all for an amazing season we have had. I have been so lucky to coach and motivate you through these months and see so many transformations. I am proud of your input and your focus on your health!

Sunday mornings - I would not change anything in them - neither in the summer nor in the winter. This group is part of the gang showing up every Sunday morning - rain or shine - to do the workout. I have such a great appreciation to you all! Motivated (most of the time😉) and ready to kick some energy in themselves.

Now it is time for a short summer break and we continue again on Sunday 1st September!

Here you see graphs of two clients. Both have worked out with me twice a week and you can see on the graphs the moments when they decided to give nutrition also some thought.

What did they do? Instead of eating whatever and whenever, they focused on good quality, portion size, time when they ate, slow and mindful eating, skipped processed foods as much as possible and left sugars to the past. It was time to create new and sustainable habits.Their energy levels went up, the kilos started dropping slowly but steadily - just to mention a few. Both of them had as their goal to lose weight.

What do I want to understand from this post? That it takes two to tango! Do not expect amazing results from exercising if you know you are not giving attention to your nutrition. They go hand in hand. If you do not see results after focusing on both, it is time to look for reasons but first - be honest to yourself if you should see results.

When clients start working out with me I always say to them that I am not a magician. I am a coach. YOU are the one doing the work and I am there to guide you!
