Transformative Psychology
I'm Sandra Rendall Piedade a psychologist, mother of two and an eternal investigator of the human psyche.
Transformative Psychology began in 2016 and the name derives from a former teacher last advice at her farewell: may the theoretical knowledge you acquire leads to transformation. Intellectuality, per si, doesn't make of us evolved human beings. Only the combination of "talking the walk and walking the talk" enables real transformation within ourselves as in other dimensions of our lives.
This concept of therapeutic intervention is strongly rooted in evidence based psychological theories and practices and complemented by an integrative approach, establishing the therapeutic methodologies and tools according to the needs as aims of the clients.
Moreover, we support and progressively enable the clients to develop proactive attitudes and behaviours concerning their mental health, general well-being and self actualization.
