💨 Why VPD Matters – Not Just Temp & Humidity!

Most growers track temperature and humidity…
But if you’re serious about healthy growth, VPD (V***r Pressure Deficit) is the real MVP 🌬️🌡️

It shows how efficiently your plants transpire — that means how they “breathe” and pull nutrients.

✅ Too low VPD? = Slow growth, risk of mold
🔥 Too high? = Plant stress, curling leaves
✅ In the green zone? = Happy roots, strong growth, better yields!

💡 Use a VPD chart (like this one) or app to stay in that sweet spot.
Bonus tip: Adjust lights, airflow, and watering depending on VPD stage (seedling, veg, bloom).

🌱 How to Germinate Your Seeds – 2 Proven Methods! 🌱
Starting strong means germinating right. Here are two beginner-friendly ways trusted by pros:

1️⃣ Tupperware Method
• Place your seeds between moist (not soaked) paper towels
• Keep inside a closed container (like Tupperware)
• Store in a warm, dark spot (around 21–25°C)
• Check daily for taproots!

2️⃣ Water Glass Method
• Drop seeds in a glass of clean, room-temp water
• Keep in the dark for 24–48h
• Seeds that sink are ready to be moved to soil or paper towel

🌱 pH & EC: Why They Matter in Your Grow 💧

Understanding the pH (potential hydrogen) and EC (electrical conductivity) of your water is crucial for healthy plants. 🌿

🔬 pH controls how well nutrients are absorbed.
✅ Ideal range: 5.8 – 6.5 for most soil & coco grows.
Too high or too low? Nutrient lockout happens. 😖

⚡ EC measures the total salts/minerals in your water.
✅ Helps you dose nutrients correctly without overfeeding or burning roots.
🚨 Tap water can already carry EC! Always check before adding ferts.

📏 Use meters to monitor both – we’ve got pH pens, EC testers & calibration kits in stock.

💡 Tip: Always measure AFTER adding nutrients, and make small adjustments. Precision is key!

For seedlings, clones, and early veg, blue-dominant full-spectrum LEDs like the Sanlight FLEX II or Caluma LED Stripe Grow provide the optimal light spectrum without stressing young plants.

🌱 According to Ed Rosenthal, blue light supports shorter internodal spacing and stronger stems by suppressing excessive elongation during early growth. This leads to compact, resilient seedlings with healthy root development.

📊 Recommended PPFD for early stages:
• Seedlings/clones: 100–200 µmol/m²/s
• Early vegetative: 200–400 µmol/m²/s

Erreur 1 : Trop ou pas assez d’eau 💦
