A consultation with a plastic surgeon before breast correction with implants is an important step on the way to the desired result. In order for the patient to better imagine the expected appearance, during the consultation, which lasts up to an hour and a half, special implant “sizers” are used – temporary size samples that help visually assess the possible shape and volume of the breast.
The sizers are inserted into a special bra, pulled over a tight-fitting shirt and allowing the patient to see in the mirror how different sizes and shapes of implants look on her body proportions. This helps not only to choose the most suitable volume, but also to understand which implant shape will provide the desired aesthetic effect.
