معًا من أجل قلب أكثر صحة❤️

تزامنًا مع اليوم الوطني للقلب في 29 سبتمبر، وبالتعاون بين لجنة التدريب الطبي ولجنة الصحة العامة، أُقيمت فعالية توعوية داخل أسوار الجامعة الدولية، هدفت إلى تعزيز الوعي الصحي بأهمية حماية القلب.
شملت الفعالية التعريف بأبرز أمراض القلب الشائعة، وطرق الوقاية منها، إضافة إلى تقديم الإسعافات الأولية السريعة لبعض الحالات الطارئة المرتبطة بالقلب، مع توفير خدمة قياس ضغط الدم مجانًا.

وانطلاقًا من أن صحة القلب تبدأ بالمعرفة، وأن الوقاية دائمًا خير من العلاج، جاءت هذه المبادرة لتؤكد أن الوعي الصحي هو أسلوب حياة لا غنى عنه.

Together for a Healthier Heart

In conjunction with the National Heart Day on September 29, and through collaboration between the Medical Training Committee and the Public Health Committee, an awareness event was held within the premises of the International University. The event aimed to promote health awareness about heart protection.

The initiative included introducing the most common heart diseases, explaining methods of prevention, and providing rapid first aid guidance for certain heart-related emergencies, in addition to offering free blood pressure measurements.

Believing that heart health begins with knowledge, and that prevention is always better than treatment, this initiative emphasized the importance of health awareness as a way of life.

برعاية الجامعة الليبية الدولية، وبالتعاون مع “مِداد – مركز التدريب”، نظّمت الجمعية الليبية لطلاب الطب والأطباء الشباب (LMSA) ندوة علمية بعنوان:
“الغرق من منظور طبي”

حضرها عدد من الشخصيات البارزة منهم:
أ. خالد ف*ج نجم (مدير إدارة البرامج والأنشطة الشبابية بالحكومة الليبية)،
أ. علي بوفراج (خبير اللجنة الأولمبية الليبية)،
أ. يوسف عمران (عضو الاتحاد العام للسباحة)،
أ. خالد البرعصي (رئيس اتحاد الشراع والرياضات البحرية)،
أ. خالد الدغيلي (عضو اتحاد ألعاب القوى – بنغازي).

تناولت الندوة محاور عن أسباب الغرق، الوقاية الميدانية، التأثيرات الفسيولوجية، والإسعافات المتقدمة، واختتمت بتكريم المشاركين تقديرًا لمساهماتهم.💙

Under the patronage of the Libyan International University, and in collaboration with Medad – the University’s Training Center, the Libyan Medical Students’ Association (LMSA) organized a scientific seminar titled:
“Drowning from a Medical Perspective”

The seminar was attended by several distinguished figures, including:
• Mr. Khaled F***j Najm (Director of Youth Programs and Activities, Libyan Government)
• Mr. Ali Boufarrag (Expert, Libyan Olympic Committee)
• Mr. Yousef Imran (Member, Libyan General Swimming Federation)
• Mr. Khaled Al-Barassi (President, Libyan Sailing & Marine Sports Federation – Benghazi)
• Mr. Khaled Al-Dughaili (Member, Athletics Federation – Benghazi)

The seminar addressed key topics such as the causes of drowning, field-based prevention, physiological impacts, and advanced life support. It concluded with honoring the participants in appreciation of their valuable contributions.💙

في إطار تعزيز الوعي الصحي لدى المجتمع، نظّمت لجنة التعليم الطبي SCOME وبرعاية كريمة من صيدلية جنات
صيدلية جنّات - Jannat Pharmacy
فعالية توعوية حول الإسعافات الأولية للغرق، وذلك يومي 6 و7 أغسطس بمنتجع النخلة الذهبية و A-One.

تضمّن البرنامج محاضرات وورش عملية ركزت على توضيح الطرق السليمة لإنقاذ الغريق، وتدريب المشاركين على خطوات الإسعافات الأولية، إضافة إلى نشر ثقافة الوقاية والوعي بخطورة حوادث الغرق.

وتتقدم اللجنة بجزيل الشكر إلى الراعي الكريم والداعمين، وإلى كافة الحضور على تفاعلهم المثمر، مؤكدة استمرارها في إقامة مثل هذه الأنشطة الهادفة لخدمة المجتمع، ابقوا بالقرب للمزيد!🖤

As part of enhancing community health awareness, the Medical Education Committee SCOME, with the kind sponsorship of Jannat Pharmacy, organized an awareness event on first aid for drowning on August 6 and 7 at Golden Palm Resort and A-One.

The program included lectures and practical workshops aimed at clarifying the correct methods of rescuing a drowning person, training participants on first aid steps, and promoting a culture of prevention and awareness of the dangers of drowning incidents.

The committee extends its sincere thanks to the sponsor and supporters, as well as to all attendees for their fruitful engagement, affirming its commitment to continuing such purposeful activities in service of the community.🖤

قامت الجمعية الليبية لطلاب الطب والأطباء الشباب – فرع جامعة ليبيا الدولية، بالتعاون مع د. إيمان الحاسي، مدير مركز المهارات بالجامعة، وبمشاركة استشاري أمراض الغدد الصماء د. أحمد عبدالقادر المغربي، بتنظيم ورشة عمل مكثفة ليوم واحد.

تضمنت الورشة تدريبًا عمليًا على:
• Needle Cricothyrotomy
• CPR
• Cannulation
• Endotracheal Intubation

وقد أتيح لجميع المشاركين التدريب بشكل فردي دون استثناء.

ترقبوا المزيد من التدريبات القادمة، وكونوا بالقرب دائمًا.❤️

The Libyan Association of Medical Students and Young Doctors – Libya International University Branch, in collaboration with Dr. Iman Alhassi, Director of the Skills Center at the university, and with the participation of Endocrinology Consultant Dr. Ahmed Abdelkader Al-Maghribi, organized an intensive one-day workshop.

The workshop included practical training on:
• Needle Cricothyrotomy
• CPR
• Cannulation
• Endotracheal Intubation

All participants had the opportunity to train individually without exception.

نظمت لجنة الصحة الإنجابية SCORA فعالية توعوية حول الرضاعة الطبيعية بتاريخ 14/08/2025، وذلك باستضافة مطعم وكافيه A-One، تزامناً مع الأسبوع العالمي للرضاعة الطبيعية.

جاء هذا اللقاء لتسليط الضوء على أهمية الرضاعة الطبيعية ودورها في تعزيز صحة الأم والطفل، مع مناقشة فوائدها الصحية، والتحديات التي قد تواجه الأمهات، إلى جانب تصحيح بعض المفاهيم المرتبطة بها وبالحليب الصناعي. كما تم التأكيد على أهمية الدعم من العائلة والكادر الطبي لإنجاح تجربة الرضاعة، وإتاحة مساحة تفاعلية للأمهات للتعبير عن احتياجاتهن وتجاربهن.

نتوجّه بخالص الشكر لمطعم وكافيه A-One على استضافته الكريمة وتعاونه المثمر، كما نثمّن الحضور المميز للأمهات وتفاعلهن، والذي عكس اهتماماً حقيقياً وحرصاً على الاستفادة والدعم.

On 14/08/2025, the Standing Committee on Reproductive Health and Rights including HIV and AIDS (SCORA) organized an awareness event on breastfeeding, hosted by A-One Restaurant & Cafe, in conjunction with World Breastfeeding Week.

The event aimed to highlight the importance of breastfeeding and its role in promoting maternal and child health, while addressing its benefits, the challenges mothers may face, and correcting misconceptions surrounding natural and formula feeding. It also emphasized the vital role of families and healthcare providers in ensuring a successful breastfeeding experience, while offering an interactive space for mothers to share their needs and experiences.

We extend our sincere thanks to A-One Restaurant & Cafe for their generous hosting and fruitful cooperation, and we value the active participation of the mothers, which reflected genuine interest and eagerness to learn and support.

اختتمت لجنة حقوق الإنسان والسلام حملتها التوعوية باضطراب فرط الحركة وتشتت الانتباه (ADHD) في محطتها الأخيرة بـ الداون تاون بتاريخ 31/07/2025.

كانت هذه الحملة خطوة مهمة لنشر الوعي، وتصحيح المفاهيم، ودعم كل من يتعايش مع هذا الاضطراب.

لأن الصحة النفسية جزء لا يتجزأ من حياتنا، من واجبنا أن نوصل صوت التوعية، ونكون سندًا لمن يحتاج الفهم والدعم.

شكرًا لكل من كان جزءًا من هذه الرحلة!💚

The Human Rights and Peace Committee concluded its awareness campaign on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at its final stop in Downtown on 31/07/2025.

This campaign was an important step in raising awareness, correcting misconceptions, and supporting those living with the disorder.

Because mental health is an essential part of our lives, it is our duty to spread awareness and be a support to those who need understanding and care.
