Back in cat town 🐾
Essaouira welcomes you with ocean air, blue doors… and cats everywhere.
Resting, roaming, watching life unfold — completely at ease.
In many Arabic cultures, cats are deeply respected.
They move with dignity, independence, and presence.
In ancient Egypt, they were even revered as guardians — symbols of grace, intuition, and protection.
There’s something deeply spiritual about them.
Cats remind us how to rest without guilt,
how to stay alert yet relaxed,
how to belong to a place without trying to own it.
It feels so good to be back in this colorful, soulful land.
Over the next days, I’ll be sharing little glimpses of life, movement, and our Christmas yoga retreat here in Essaouira 🤍
