Family Program - The importance of family
Living with a family member or partner who struggles with addiction can put a strain on the family system and cause distress for everyone involved. The more closely intertwined your lives are, the more devastating the effects of addiction can be. It has been proven that the risk of relapse decreases if people in recovery can rely on a network of people at home who understand the treatment process. Positive support from a loving partner or family can be a crucial help and resource. At Riad Recovery we involve family and close relations throughout the process and invite them to become part of the solution by attending our family treatment.

Signature Program
Our Signature Program involves a comprehensive mix of group therapy, individual sessions, body-focused therapies and personal time. We believe that it takes a minimum of four weeks to build the foundation for long-term recovery.

A typical day at Riad Recovery
Each day begins with a healthy breakfast followed by somatic sessions to encourage our clients to attune with their bodies and emotions. This may involve yoga, breathwork or physical exercise. A group check-in encourages our clients to set their intentions for the day. A typical day involves a mix of somatic and mindfulness exercises, interwoven with group and individual therapies. Psychoeducational groups will explore topics around addiction and recovery, whilst complimentary therapies will encourage self-awareness and nervous system regulation. Some evenings include involvement in mutual-aid groups, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA). On weekends, the days are structured differently and focus on activities which complement our therapeutic program. We take trips to the surrounding areas or enjoy the lake and breath-taking alpine scenery. Throughout your entire stay, you will have ample time to enjoy the beautiful views and landscapes, take walks, relax and recuperate.

Executive Program
It is an unfortunate truth that many clients who need therapeutic care are leading very busy lives with many responsibilities and commitments. An extended leave of absence – e. g. one month for participating in our signature treatment program may not be possible. Especially executives with high-profile careers or self-employed professionals might feel uneasy about leaving their business behind for any length of time. Designed to meet their needs, this particular track assists clients who want to stay in touch with their work or company during the rehab program. In creating a more flexible version of our intensive signature program, we provide you with the necessary time to continue working.

To benefit from our Executive Program and still reach your treatment goals, you may require a longer stay with us. To make your remote working comfortable, we have specially designed rooms offering plenty of space for you to set up your temporary office.
