Throwback to the last Maghrebian Congress featuring the 1st North African Congress of Dermatology held in the beautiful Tunis 🇹🇳 last week.

An exceptional edition that brought together a prestigious panel of speakers from 3 continents and a quiet engaged and enthusiastic audience.

The conference was the opportunity to represent the Moroccan Society of Dermatology (SMD) 🇲🇦 as a board member together with my colleagues with a lecture on Adulte female acne and its challenging management.

Thank you to our Tunisian friends Noureddine Litaiem Asmahane Souissi Dr Bennani Zineb - Dermatologist for the warm welcome and congratulations on this resounding success.

It’s been a week since the ended. This latest edition was very special, both personally and in terms of the congress itself. It’s quite exceptional to see how this conference, which already represents one of major events of the year if not the main one, continues to innovate, improve, and reinvent itself.
From my perspective, my participation this year was certainly the richest and most productive, with three lectures including major sessions with hot 🔥 topics like dark circles, acne scars and tattoo removal, sharing the stage with some of the most renowned and prestigious speakers worldwide.

Now that we’ve wrapped up, it’s time to thank all the IMCAS soldiers both scientific and organising teams who worked without a doubt tirelessly and relentlessly to bring this conference to that level of excellence.

كان لي الشرف بالمشاركة في فعاليات المؤتمر SAUDIDERM 2026 بدعوة رسمية من اخي و صديقي الدكتور عبد الله العيسى وُالمقام بالرياض على ارض طيبة، أرض المملكة العربية السعودية.

تسنى لي المشاركة بمحاضرتين في مجالي العلاج بالليزر و علاج الحالات المعقدة لندب حب الشباب إلى جانب نخبة من الزملاء من مختلف الدول في مشهد يعكس روح التعاون و التشارك و التفاني في العمل.

كانت الدورة التاسعة للمؤتمر فرصة راقية بامتياز لتبادل الخبرات و مناقشة احدث التطورات في طب الجلد، الطب التجميلي و العلاج بالليزر و ذلك بتناول محايد و علمي محض قدر الإمكان بعيدا عن التأثير السلبي للوبيات الصناعة التجميلية، و أقل يمكن قوله هو أن إخواني من اللجنة المنظمة وفقوا في ذلك بامتياز.

خالص الشكر والإمتنان لكل من لم يدخر جهدا من أجل إنجاح هذه الدورة، دورة ناجحة بكل المقاييس.

It’s a common misconception that post surgery scars management must be delayed after 6 months. Hybrid lasers are a powerful tool for improving those scars by resurfacing the skin and preventing aberrant scars formation.
Fewer sessions and less invasive procedures with less downtime are required in that case than for old scars. An additional session with 585 nm will make our result even better.

رحلة سريعة الي مدينة باريس بفرنسا لحضور فعاليات المؤتمر السنوي للجمعية الفرنسية لطب الجلدية.
للسنة الثانية على التوالي أتشرف بإلقاء محاضرة حول العلاجات المتقدمة للتصبغات المركبة بالليزر رفقة زملائي من مجموعة الليزر المنضوية تحت الجمعية المغربية للعلاج بالليزر.
و يجسد هذا العمل روح التعاون و تبادل الخبرات الذي يطبع الجمعيتين الفرنسية و المغربية منذ عقود.

Recalcitrant pigmentation - Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in that case - can be effectively reduced in selected patients with Picosecond Lasers. These lasers, used correctly, are able to provide marked pigment resolution in a few sessions in cases of PIH that almost resisted to everything.

Discovery Pico (Quanta System) used in that case low fluence, toning technique, 9HC hand piece, limited number of passes.

My analyse through a lecture about the state of the art Lasers in hands rejuvenation and my technique using Picosecond laser dual mode for pigment targeting and textural improvement. An innovative procedure that offers a same day management of both pigment and rejuvenation for the hands.
